The Season of Blue started out as I journeys with my watercolors into more expressive and intuitive strokes of the brush. At a time when my mind and heart were being overloaded with loss and sorrow I was drawn to the expressive style that just got my feelings and thoughts on paper. The blooming of a flower among the chaos of all that winters rebirth can bring as it moves towards spring. A series of these Blooms of Blues grew out of the sorrow of losing five beautiful earthly souls a million winters too soon. I wanted to celebrate the growth and sparkle of those souls and the impacts each had on the seasons of my life.
